Empowering Youth

DBT Group Counseling

This 8-week group is designed to help youth handle strong emotions. This group will help youth dealing with anxiety, anger, sadness, grief, shame, and more. Topics are based on the 4 components of DBT: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness.

The 8 weekly topics include:

1) Mindfulness

2) Self-Care

3) Coping Skills

4) Distractions

5) Improve the Moment

6) Emotional Regulation

7) Effective Communication

8) Termination
